Underwater hybrid cable with 3 power cores and Cat5 twisted-pair signal cores. PUR jacket for ROV Ethernet and multi-power supply in a single underwater cable run.
The 3-power-core + Cat5 signal cable provides three independent power channels (commonly used for thrusters, video lighting, and electronics) alongside Cat5 shielded twisted pairs for Ethernet data, RS-485 control, and analog signals, all within a single PUR-jacketed run. The three-power-core configuration is typical for ROV systems with separate power distribution zones that must be independently switched and monitored.

Common allocation for 3-power-core ROV cables: Core 1 -- thruster/motor power (highest current, largest CSA); Core 2 -- LED lighting power (medium current); Core 3 -- electronics power or return (smaller CSA). Each core is independently connected through topside power switches for zone control and protection.
Yes. A Kevlar or Dyneema aramid strength member can be braided or laid between the inner and outer PUR jacket. Specify the required minimum breaking strength (in kN or kg) when ordering.
