800kg breaking strength underwater RG59 coaxial cable with tensile reinforcement. For ROV and inspection cameras requiring both video transmission and structural strength.
The 800 kg MBS underwater RG59 coaxial cable is engineered for applications where the camera or inspection vehicle cable must bear significant tensile loads in addition to transmitting video signals. Kevlar aramid or stainless steel wire reinforcement integrated into the cable construction provides an 800 kg minimum breaking strength (MBS), enabling the cable to act as both the video and data connection and the mechanical tether/lifting element for the camera or ROV.

The minimum breaking strength (MBS) is 800 kg. The recommended working load limit (WLL) is 200 kg, providing a 4:1 safety factor in accordance with lifting and tethering equipment standards. For applications requiring a higher WLL, contact us for a higher MBS variant (1,200 kg, 2,000 kg, or custom).
Yes. We manufacture variants with MBS from 200 kg to 5,000 kg+ depending on the strength member diameter and type. Stainless steel wire armour provides the highest MBS in the smallest additional diameter. Specify your required WLL and maximum cable OD for a configuration recommendation.
