The pipe detection camera cable integrates an RG59 coaxial core (75 Ohm) for CCTV video transmission with multiple signal conductors for camera control, PTZ drive, lighting control, and power supply in a single PUR-jacketed run. Designed for pipeline inspection robots and crawlers that carry a CCTV camera inside the pipe, where a single slim umbilical must carry all functions to the topside operator console.

RG59 supports CVBS video to approximately 300 m at adequate signal levels. For AHD/TVI 1080p, the practical limit is 400--500 m with a quality signal. Beyond this, use a video amplifier (balun with gain) at the midpoint, or switch to IP camera with Cat6 cable in the umbilical.
The outer diameter of the standard pipe detection cable is 8--12 mm, depending on the core configuration. A compact version can be designed to fit the internal dimensions of a DN50 pipe robot umbilical slot. Contact us with your minimum ID and required core count for a diameter calculation.
