18-core pipeline inspection robot gas cable for in-pipe ROV and crawler robots. Multi-core control with gas channel for pipe inspection, purging, and leak detection.
The 18-core pipeline inspection robot gas cable is an integrated cable for in-pipe inspection robots (crawlers) and pipeline ROVs that require both a high core-count electrical connection (for control, video, lighting, and sensors) and a gas supply or detection channel (for purging, pressurising, or sampling the pipe atmosphere). The combination eliminates the need for a separate gas hose, reducing umbilical diameter and simplifying robot handling.

Typical allocation: 1 x RG59 coaxial (CCTV video), 2-wire RS-485 (control data), 4 x power (lights, drive motors), 4 x sensor analog (4-20mA), 2 x RS-485 (sensor bus), 4 x spare/PTZ control, 1 x temperature sensor -- exact allocation is defined by the robot system integrator.
The gas duct is manufactured from a chemically resistant fluoropolymer liner that is compatible with nitrogen, compressed air, CO2, and most natural gas compositions. For specific gas types (H2S, Cl2, etc.), specify the gas composition when ordering to confirm material compatibility.
