6 Core Control Cable with 2 Power Wires -- Underwater ROV Cable

The 6+2 underwater ROV cable provides six control signal cores (for thruster PWM, sensor data, serial comms) alongside two larger power conductors (for motor or light power supply) within a single PUR-jacketed run. The combined design is widely used in observation-class ROV tether systems where a single cable must carry all required power and control functions to the vehicle.

Typical configurations are 6 x 0.5mm² control + 2 x 1.5mm² power, or 6 x 0.34mm² + 2 x 2.5mm². We manufacture to customer specification -- provide your current requirements and control signal types for a cross-section recommendation.

Does the cable include a Kevlar strength member?

The standard cable does not include a strength member. A Kevlar or Dyneema braid strength member can be added between the inner and outer jacket layers for tether applications requiring tensile load capability. Specify your required breaking strength when ordering.
