4 Core Coaxial Video Transmission Cable for CCTV Camera | Custom

Customized 4-core coaxial video transmission cable for CCTV cameras. Four 75-Ohm coaxial cores for multi-channel video, supporting 4 simultaneous camera feeds in one cable run.

Product introduction

Customized 4 Core Coaxial Video Transmission Cable for CCTV

The 4-core coaxial video cable contains four independent 75-Ohm RG59 coaxial cores for simultaneous 4-channel video transmission from multi-camera inspection systems or CCTV arrays. Each coaxial core carries one independent video channel, enabling a 4-camera inspection head or a 4-view CCTV installation to be connected to the monitoring system with a single cable run rather than four individual cables.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mix RG59 and RG6 in the same cable?

Yes, though it is unusual. RG6 (75 Ohm) has a larger centre conductor and lower loss than RG59, making it preferred for longer runs (>300 m) or HD-SDI video. If your camera system uses mixed camera types (some HD, some standard), we can configure the 4 coaxial cores as 2 x RG6 + 2 x RG59 to match. Contact us for a custom specification.

Does the cable need signal amplifiers at longer distances?

At standard CVBS video quality (PAL/NTSC), RG59 supports approximately 250--300 m per core without amplification. For longer runs or AHD/TVI HD video, add a video distribution amplifier (VDA) at the midpoint. For distances over 500 m, switch to IP cameras over Cat6 pairs or fiber optic.
