Customized 8 Twisted-Pair Underwater Control Cable -- 16-Core Signal

The 8-pair underwater control cable provides sixteen individually shielded conductors in eight twisted pairs for complex ROV systems and multi-sensor subsea platforms where a large number of independent, low-interference signal channels are required in a single cable run. Each pair is individually foil-shielded with a drain wire, and an overall braid provides system-level EMI protection.

How are the 8 pairs colour-coded?

Standard pair colour coding uses the international cable colour code (pair 1: white/blue, pair 2: white/orange, etc.) or a custom colour code on request. Each pair core is individually coloured for easy identification at termination.

Can some pairs be used for analog signals and others for digital?

Yes. The 8 pairs are completely independent. You can assign analog 4-20mA signals to some pairs, RS-485 differential signals to others, and digital I/O to further pairs, all within the same cable, provided signal levels are within the voltage rating.
