The standard Deutsch crimp tool is the HDT-48, which covers the full DT contact series. Alternatives include the ratchet-type HDT-48-00 and compatible third-party crimpers for 16 AWG contacts. Never use a standard wire stripper or non-ratchet pliers -- incorrect crimping will result in high contact resistance and potential connection failure.
