Our water leak sensor cable and detection rope range provides cost-effective, reliable water leak detection for facilities, infrastructure, and critical equipment rooms. Available in both non-positioning (detects leak presence) and positioning (locates leak to within 1 m) variants, this sensing cable is compatible with all standard resistance-based leak detection controllers and integrates easily into existing BMS and building automation systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the leak detection rope installed?

The rope is laid flat on the floor, under raised access floors, or along pipe runs in the area to be monitored. It does not require adhesive -- the rope lies in contact with the surface where water would collect. For overhead pipe monitoring, use cable clips to suspend the rope beneath the pipe.

What happens to the rope after a detection event?

Once the water is removed and the rope is dry, the resistance returns to normal and the alarm resets (after controller acknowledgement). The rope is not damaged by water exposure and can be reused indefinitely, making it significantly more cost-effective than single-use solutions.
