Water Leak Detection Controller with Sensing Rope -- Complete System

Our water leak detection controller paired with sensing rope provides a complete, ready-to-install leak monitoring system for data centres, server rooms, telecommunications rooms, and critical facilities. The controller continuously monitors the sensing rope resistance and triggers a relay alarm output (NO/NC) when water is detected -- enabling integration with BMS, SCADA, or local alarm panels. LED or LCD status display provides at-a-glance system health.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the controller output an alarm to a BMS or SCADA system?

Yes. The relay output (NO/NC) can trigger any BMS or SCADA dry-contact input. Models with RS-485/Modbus RTU communication can be polled by SCADA systems for real-time status. Contact us to specify the communication protocol you require.

How many sensing ropes can one controller monitor?

Single-zone controllers monitor one rope loop. Multi-zone controllers (4--8 zones) can monitor multiple independent rope circuits simultaneously, enabling coverage of multiple rooms or areas from a single controller. Each zone can have up to 200 m of sensing rope.

What happens if the rope is broken or disconnected?

The controller uses a supervised circuit (4-wire connection with end-of-line resistor). A broken or disconnected rope generates a "fault" alarm distinct from a water detection alarm, preventing the system from silently losing coverage due to a wiring fault.
