RMG Series 2-Pin Subsea Cable Connector -- RMG2M / RMG2F

The RMG2M (male) and RMG2F (female) are the simplest and most compact members of the RMG Series from Shanghai Kabel Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. Providing 2 contacts for DC power, single-phase AC, or basic signal circuits, they offer the smallest form factor in the series while maintaining IP68 sealing and the same gold-plated contact quality as larger RMG variants.

Can the 2-pin RMG handle high current?

Yes -- each of the 2 contacts is rated to 25 A, giving a per-connector capacity of 25 A per pole. For higher current (50 A+), consider the 1-contact high-power series or contact us for larger-diameter pin options.

Is the RMG2 polarised to prevent reverse connection?

The RMG2 uses a keyed bayonet locking mechanism that provides 2-position polarisation. Positive and negative poles are clearly marked. Custom keying for applications with multiple connectors in proximity is available.

What cable outer diameter does the RMG2 accept?

The standard boot seal accepts cable OD from 5 mm to 12 mm. Larger boot seal options for cable OD up to 20 mm are available on request.
