The RMG4M (male) and RMG4F (female) are the 4-pin variants of the RMG Series from Shanghai Kabel Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. The 4-pin configuration is the most popular in the RMG Series, providing balanced coverage for 4-circuit power, signal, and mixed-use subsea cable assemblies. IP68 rated, with gold-plated contacts and a 316L stainless steel body, they are built for ROV and AUV inline cable connections.

Why is the 4-pin RMG the most common configuration?
Four circuits covers the most common requirements: 2 power + 2 signal, 3-phase + neutral, or 4-circuit sensor. This versatility makes the RMG4 the default choice for most ROV auxiliary connections.
What is the locking mechanism?
The standard RMG4 uses a bayonet locking mechanism for fast one-quarter-turn connection and disconnection. A threaded (screw-lock) variant for vibration-prone installations is available on request.
Can a cable assembly be pre-tested before delivery?
Yes -- all RMG4M/RMG4F cable assemblies undergo IP68 immersion testing and continuity/isolation testing before delivery. Test reports are available on request.
