1-contact high-current subsea power connector for ROV and offshore single-circuit applications. IP68, stainless steel. Contact sales@rovcable.com.

Product introduction

Power 1-Contact Subsea Underwater Connector

The Power 1-Contact subsea connector from Shanghai Kabel Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd is the simplest and most compact connector in the High Power Series -- a single-pin, high-current waterproof connector for applications requiring one dedicated power circuit. IP68 sealed with a robust 316L stainless steel body, it is suitable for ROV lighting, single-phase drives, and offshore single-circuit power feeds.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum current for a 1-contact connector?

Up to 100 A for the standard large-pin version. Current capacity depends on pin diameter -- contact us with your load requirement for the appropriate selection.

Is the connector polarised?

A single-contact connector has no polarity in the mating key, but the cable termination itself (positive or negative) is defined during assembly. Specify polarity requirements when ordering.

Can this handle 1000 V DC systems?

Yes -- the standard electrical rating is 1000 V DC rms. This makes it compatible with HVDC subsea power distribution and high-voltage thruster systems.

Applications

  • High-current power supply for ROV thrusters, subsea pumps and hydraulic systems
  • Marine battery pack charging connections for AUV and underwater vehicle fleets
  • Subsea trenching machines, cable laying equipment and heavy-duty ROV tools
  • Offshore platform high-power distribution and subsea processing equipment
  • Underwater welding systems, intervention tools and high-amperage applications

Customization Options

  • Customer-specified cable sizes and conductor gauges for specific current requirements
  • Alternative shell materials and high-temperature insulator options available
  • Field-installable versions for on-site connector termination and repair
  • Certified high-voltage and high-current testing with detailed test reports
