At 32-contact density in a single circular shell, thermal derating to 5 A ensures the connector operates within its thermal envelope at full simultaneous load. For circuits requiring higher current, dedicate a separate 2-pin or 4-pin high-current Circular connector in parallel for those power feeds.
The threaded coupling ring engages finger-tight plus approximately 1/4 turn to seat the locking feature. A specific torque value (typically 1.5-3 Nm depending on lubrication and O-ring condition) is specified on the connector datasheet, available on request with your order.
