Flange mounting distributes the sealing load across 4 bolts, providing more uniform gasket compression and better resistance to vibration loosening compared to a threaded bulkhead. It also allows in-situ replacement without removing the connector from the back side of the panel.
The standard flange uses a 4x M4 bolt pattern on a 40 mm pitch circle. Custom bolt patterns for existing panel cutouts are available on request.
