Frequently Asked Questions

Are these micro connectors compatible with SubConn Micro Circular?

Yes. Our micro wet-mate connectors are designed to be fully interchangeable and intermateable with SubConn Micro Circular series connectors.

What is the smallest connector available in this range?

Our 2-contact micro connector is the most compact, with the smallest shell diameter in the Micro Circular platform. Contact our sales team for specific dimensional drawings.

Can micro wet-mate connectors carry both power and signal?

Yes. Depending on the contact count selected, these connectors can simultaneously transmit power and low-voltage signals within a single connector body.

Installation and Handling Guidelines

Proper handling and installation of micro wet-mate connectors is essential for reliable underwater performance. Before each mating operation, inspect O-rings and sealing surfaces for damage or contamination. Apply a light coating of silicone lubricant to O-rings. Ensure connectors are fully mated and locking sleeves or nuts are tightened to the specified torque. After use, rinse with fresh water, dry and install protective caps.

Quality Assurance

All micro wet-mate connectors are 100% tested for electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and hydrostatic pressure before shipment. Each connector is supplied with a certificate of conformance.
