Proper handling and installation of micro wet-mate connectors is essential for reliable underwater performance. Before each mating operation, inspect O-rings and sealing surfaces for damage or contamination. Apply a light coating of silicone lubricant to O-rings. Ensure connectors are fully mated and locking sleeves or nuts are tightened to the specified torque. After use, rinse with fresh water, dry and install protective caps.
All micro wet-mate connectors are 100% tested for electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and hydrostatic pressure before shipment. Each connector is supplied with a certificate of conformance.
