Installation and Handling Guidelines

Proper installation is critical for the long-term reliability of subsea connectors. Before mating, ensure all O-rings and sealing surfaces are clean and free from debris. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to O-rings to facilitate mating and extend seal life. When mating underwater, ensure the connector faces are aligned correctly and fully engage the locking mechanism. After each dive, rinse connectors with fresh water and inspect for damage. Store with protective caps installed when not in use.
